With everyone watching her, the 27-year-old updated her look last week and gave a shout-out to her hairstylist, Brenton Diallo, who has been working with her for eight years.

Diallo shared a photo of Biles on Instagram, saying, “What a magical morning! Reuniting with the GOAT! My sis from another miss, the gorgeous and incredibly gifted @simonebiles. I’m honored to do your hair. We’ve been working together for 8 years now, and it’s amazing to style your hair while you’re on top of the world. Ps 8 years, wow! We’ve grown so much haha ❤️ YOU!”

Biles faced some unfair criticism about her hair during the Olympics in Paris, but she clearly didn’t let it stop her.

To respond to critics, Simone Biles posted on Instagram on July 30, saying, “Next time you want to comment on a Black girl’s hair, JUST DON’T.”

It’s surprising that people chose to leave negative comments about her hair during a heatwave in Paris, but unfortunately, this kind of small-mindedness is common online.

Before the Olympics, Biles talked about her journey to appreciating her hair and the styles she can create. She also addressed criticism of her wedding hairstyle, saying, “Most of the backlash comes from our own community, which is sad… I don’t really care if my edges aren’t smooth.”

Biles’ new hairstyle has received a lot of positive feedback on social media.

One fan commented, “Omg this is gold!!!”

Another wrote, “THIS IS INCREDIBLE! Wow!!!”

A third added, “Your hair looks fabulous and congratulations on your accomplishments! 🥇❤️”
